Mural Artist

Jennifer Foxley

Murals can open up a world where a child’s dream can become reality. My goal with every commission I acquire is to create such a backdrop where their imagination has no bounds.

I have worked within the interior design industry for over 15 years, as an interior stylist as well as a mural artist. I appreciate the importance of every design detail of a room complementing each other and working together. If you’re investing in beautiful bespoke Misuenos Kids furniture for your child’s bedroom, having a mural alongside it can truly enhance it even further.

The starting point of the design process for me is to build an understanding of your thoughts for the mural design. If the furniture and soft furnishing choices have already been made, then this gives a head start with which direction to go with the artwork.

Once I have an understanding of your preferred style of artwork and concept, I put together a mood board of suggestions. If at this stage you have a furniture layout and a colour scheme in mind, then I take all this into consideration. I will then put together a sketch for you, as guide to how I envisage your mural incorporating into your room design. Any suggestions or changes you wish to make are discussed at this point.

Once you have agreed the design then I book in a date that is convenient for you. On arrival I advise allowing time to discuss and clarify the design and colours before I begin. The length of time needed to paint your mural will depend on the scale and complexity. I will however always give you an anticipated time scale, so you know what to expect.

The final, and most exciting stage of the process comes with revealing it to the lucky child and seeing their little face light up
